This 150 year old town house is located in the St Johns neighbourhood of SE London and is a classic example of an early Victorian London house. We were brought on to the project by the owner who is an avid art collector and an admirer of mid-century modern design. A gut renovation ensued with the addition of a kitchen and dining room with wall to wall glass opening to a walled urban garden with outdoor kitchen.

The loft space was reconfigured with the roofline expanded upon to accommodate a large master suite and dressing room. Interior finishes are classics selections with clean details. The furniture is a grouping of new pieces and vintage Danish collectibles. Classic boucles and textiles by English designer Eleanor Pritchard are layered into the rooms.

Allowances were made in the interior arrangements to showcase the clients art collection, including a lovely portfolio of Eileen Grey original drawings.
