House on the Point – Pool House
This tiny pool house sits between the surface of a swimming pool and bay waters. The architecture embraces the casual ease of living between the indoors and the outdoors. As the building opens widely to the pool and deck, all of the furnishings are designed to support carefree indoor/outdoor living, A small kitchenette, and a discrete sleeping surface finished in bleached walnut, are surrounded by glass on both sides. The covered deck spaces provide further opportunities for cooking, lounging and dining. Teak and manmade weaves are dressed in sand tones that sit on large format porcelain tiles indoors, in the same hue. A bright coral pink red, reminiscent of a summer sunset is used as an accent color for the accessories and bar stools.
