Leaving the beaten path can lead to unexpected surprises. This project began as one house on a bluff and evolved into two houses when the adjacent property came up for sale. Our clients, both performing artists, embraced the idea of creating a compound of modestly scaled, one-story structures unified by landscape. Breathtaking views of the bays and harbors, coupled with an appetite for exploring unconventional ideas, drove the development of the two structures, each with its own personality.
